Default

The IF test needs to be enclosed in a pair of field braces, thus:
{ IF { MERGEFIELD RegistrantNumber } = "123" "YAY" "NAY" }
To do that, select your current 'IF' test and press Ctrl-F9 - you can't type the braces.
