Dear Sir,

I have Postcard template 4 per page. I have set up mail merge like label merge but one of my template (Template1) generating less records. It is generating pages 403 instead of 504 while second template (Template_New) is generating first page twice. Can you please point out my error and suggest improvements?

You really should pay more attention to what you're doing. Your Template1 file has four «NextRecord» fields on the first page, which means four records get skipped every time that page is called. Open the document, press Alt-F9 and you'll immediately be able to see three of them...

Thank You Sir for guidance. I have removed all three next record indicators from page 1 but the result is same as there are still some records missing from the output file. Kindly check this revised template.

There is still one more «NextRecord» field on the first page - with some other hidden content in the 3rd row.

Sir, I have tried to locate the next record by deleting one by each line of blocks of data but not fine any next record. You are right; it will be there but I am unable to fine. I shall be highly greatful to you if you could please remove these and sent back to me my template.

I have already told you where to find it - something you could easily have done for yourself. I am not going to do your work for you! You only got into this situation because of sloppy document construction.

That's hardly surprising, since you have a «Next Record» field after every «Zip» field. You should not have it after the last one.

That is a necessary consequence of your document's structure - unless you put «Next Record» fields of the first page, it will always show the same record for all fields. Concersely, if you do put «Next Record» fields of the first page, it will skip four records per duplex set.

The attached re-working of your document overcomes those issues.
