Default MM with Word 2010, Outlook 2003, Win 7

Has anyone successfully been able to get mail merge (e-mail) to work using Word 2010, Outlook 2003 on Win 7 (64)? If you have been able to get it to work, can you help me understand how? I am trying to send a series of e-mails and have not had success. When I "Send E-mail Messages" the records spin through, but no e-mails are sent. None in the "Outbox," none in the "Sent" folder, none in the "Inbox." ? Mail merge print works fine, so I am guessing there is a problem with Word 2010 working with Outlook 2003. ? Any help or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim
