Suppress paragraph mark in mail merge field
Is it possible to suppress the paragraph mark in specific mail merge field? That mail merge field was generated from a ".xlsm" excel file. In the cell of excel file, it shows that: Code:
A B C Code:
A, B, C |

Word has no mailmerge fields (or other fields) that could remove such content from the mailmerge data - you need to change the data if you don't want to include its paragraph breaks in the mailmerge output.

In my case, I am using the xlsm file as the database. Some files should use the following format as the caption
Code:
A B C Code:
A, B, C That's the reason why I would like to use "Replace" or "suppress". Would any one please provide a solution? Thank you ^^ |

What you want cannot be done via mailmerge. As I have already told you, the only way a mailmerge could produce the required output is by changing the data at the source. Your only other option is to edit the mailmerge output document after the data have been merged.
