Default Wristband Mail Merge

Dear Colleagues

I want to create a custom label 10" x 7.5" (10-Up Tyvek wristband sheets). The tyvek wristbands we are printing on are 3/4" tall and 10" wide with a 1" clear zone on the left and right. There are 10 per sheet so the page size is 7.5" x 10". I want to print a logo with a single name with each label. The paper needs to be a custom size of 190mm x 250mm and each label needs to be 19mm x 250mm.

Anybody can help?

Regards

So create a table with the layout you need on a page with the required dimensions. Next, format the first label how you want it to appear, add the mergefields, preview the result to ensure the layout is as you want and, if it is, use 'update labels' to propagate the setup to all labels. Then do your merge.

Paul has missed the steps - set the table document as a Label merge document. Cancel the dialog to select a label that pops up, and then follow the steps he indicates after 'Next, format the first label...'

You might have difficulty with the custom paper size if your printer will not print to that size. Use a standard paper size and margins to make up the difference.

Hi Graham,

Given the number of posts the OP has made in multiple of forums recently about mailmerges, I assumed he at least knows the basic setup - but I guess one never knows...
