Default What does <!//FieldCode**> indicate?

This is happening when the field returned to the template is null. I would like it to return nothing, but instead, it's printing <!//FieldCode**>. I can't seem to google this particular term easily since the characters seem to be ignored in any searches, any resources I could turn to (or a quick fix would be even better!)?

Thanks.

Default

A display like «Some_Name» usually represents a mergefield that gets its data from the 'Some_Name' field in the data source.
Your «!//FieldCode**» description suggests the field has been corrupted. Try deleting the field and inserting whatever mergefield it should be from the 'Insert Mergefield' dropdown.
