Default Change multiple word Files Recipient List (excel)

Maybe this is a unique question or not. After searching the forum I could not find this scenario.

I have multiple word files (59) with merge fields that link to one (excel) recipient list file all in one folder. If I move all the word files and the one excel file to a different folder the recipient list file links are broken in all the word files. Is there a way to maintain the same file name but in a different folder? I'm trying to not re-select the recipient list file 59 times everytime I move the files.

I'm use to excel that allows the cell links to be maintained as long as the linked files are in the same folder or a child folder. Must be a way to do this in word.
