Default Using mail merge to make place cards. One record with data over two pages

Hi All,

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I feel silly asking, because I think the answer is right in front of me, though I can't figure it out...

I spent a good few hours trying to figure out how to make place cards split over two pages. What I'm trying to achieve is creating a tent card with guest names on the front, then a short personalised message on the 'inner' side. Hopefully top and bottom of the fold.

Its set up to in landscape so the text orientation will allow the text to be in the correct orientation, with 6 place cards per page.

The trouble is the names aren't populating in order, nor are the personalized message on the second page.

Think I did a crappy job of explaining myself. But I've attached the template and the mail merge with dummy data.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd be sooo grateful.

Regards
ME

You need the two sides on the same page appropriately rotated and not on two separate pages. See attached.

If you wanted to use two pages then for duplex mail merge see http://www.gmayor.com/duplex_merge_data.htm and http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_postcards.htm, but it is not required in this case.

Hi Gmayor,

Many thanks for replying!

Thats close to what I was looking for but I was trying to have the concave inside parts with the personalised notes. I've only just stepped into work, but I'll take a look at the two link you've provided and let you know how it all goes.
