Mail Merge Drops Data File Office 2013
I am attempting to merge word with excel via network/shared drives. Goal is to use an establish datasource connection with numerous forms. How do I make the datasource stick (currently using excel 2013)? |

Mail Merge Text Adjustments
I have data arriving from Excel to Word 2013:
Dog Cat Mug and I want it to appear dog, cat, mug How can I make this happen while merging data? |

To 'make the datasource stick', simply save the mailmerge main document after establishing the data connection.
For the second problem, use a Directory merge.

Saving the file after attaching the datasource
I have completed this process of opening the document and attaching the datasource...now everytime I open the document it asks me to find the datasource...suggestion to overcome.
I have tried saving as a word macro template I have deleted the source...saved...openned...reattached..saved I have moved the files local Nothing seems to work |

Hi,
I've been away for 3 1/2 months, hence the delay in replying. Are you still having problems with this issue? If so, what kind of file are you using for the data source? Is it the same data source you're opening each time (i.e. both the path and name remain the same), or a different one (either the path or name differs)?
