There should be only one NextRecord field - before the start of the 2nd record. Are you Finishing the merge, or just Previewing it?

Aha moment #2.
I was only previewing it - when I merge to a new file the records display correctly.

So why is it that the preview stage doesn't show the records as they will be printed?

Anyway, Thank you heaps for your patience with me.
