Default Printing Single Labels

I have size L7161 labels (18 per A4 sheet) and I may just need to print 1 or 2 labels at a time. So to save labels how do I print on a specific label i.e 3rd row down 2nd label in? Otherwise as soon as it prints 1 in the top left hand corner the sheet is wasted. Is there a L7161 template I can downloaded and I can write in whichever square I want to print on? Thanks.

Word's mailmerge doesn't provide such a facility; to achieve what you're after would require either the insertion of empty records into the data source to achieve the desired offset or post-processing manipulation of the output table.

You've posted your query into the Word Mailmerge forum, so that's what I assume you're using. When you do a label merge, Word uses a table for the output, structured to match your label stationery. As with any other table, you can move the data around after the merge. Alternatively, since a mailmerge uses a data source, you could modify that so that however many empty records you are needed, to pad the table out so that the first 'populated' cell lines up with your first available label.

For a single label, Word also gives you the option of choosing which label to print to, via Mailings|Labels|Labels>Single Label, but you'd need to add the address details manually or via a macro, rather than by mailmerge.
