Fix data output position relative to page
I'm trying to complete a mail merge in office 2010 and I need to output the greeting line in a fixed position on the page (the letter headline is pre-printed) rather than it moving about depending on the number of address lines in the data.
I've tried putting the greeting line into a single cell table but I'm not sure how to fix the position of the table relative to the page (the table just moves up & down depending upon the number of address lines - so I'm back to square 1 ) Is there an easy way to fix the output position of the greeting line to the page irrespective of the number of address lines above? Thanks |

What you should be using the table for is the address lines, not the greeting line. Further, your table's row height should be fixed, so that it doesn't change size with changes in the number of address lines used.
