I'm trying to do a merge letter with an excel workbook as the source. When I've done this in the past, I've used it as a tool to produce multiple letters at a single time. However, in this case, I'm trying to produce only a single letter at a time, multiple times. Can I name a range (B2:AH2, for instance) to produce a single letter?

Hi Chris,

You can use filtering in the mailmerge main document to exclude the records that are not of interest - or you could use a SKIPIF field coded along the lines of:
{SKIPIF {MERGEREC} <> {FILLIN "Merge Which Record #" \d 1 \o} }

Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created in the body of the document via Ctrl-F9 (Cmd-F9 on a Mac) - you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message.
