how to get datasource element
Dear All! Is it possible to use a data source, eg. an excel to generate a document with half-automated content? In the excel, there should be file paths of images, and I want to insert these images to the different part of the document. Is it possible to use data source in a single document, not in a mail merge? And how can I get the excel's element by cell, not by column? (In mail merge I can Insert Merge Field, that is a column, not a cell.) Or how can I solve this problem? |

From your description (which isn't entirely clear) it should be possible to do what you're after using a macro or an INCLUDEPICTURE field with a LINK field pointing to the source cell contained within it.
