Default Records paragraph break

Hi,

I'm trying to print a list of products using mail merge and I have this code

{MERGEFIELD "Produto_da_Proposta_Produto_Existente"}

and the result is:
Adaptador ATA Grandstream HT 503

Appliance IPBrick® .4CC 16 - Single Server - Garantia Gold

I want to print the same info but without paragraph breaks

If the line breaks are in the source data, there's nothing a mailmerge field can do to remove them.

There are no line breaks in the data, I already checked this option.

OK, so what exists between the output lines you've displayed - in your mailmerge main document?

So far you've only mentioned one mergefield, but you have what appears to be two results separated by empty lines. What kind of merge are you doing? if it's a directory/catalog merge, try deleting the paragraph/line breaks before/after the mergefield and using the /f switch. For example, suppose your mergefield is «Data». Selecting the field and pressing Shift F9 will reveal:
{MERGEFIELD Data}
If you edit the mergefield code so it appears as:
{MERGEFIELD Data \f "¶
"}
(where ¶ is a pargraph break) it will insert a paragraph break after the mergefield if the field is not blank.

That's all very well, but you haven't answered my questions:
1. What exists between the output lines you've displayed - in your mailmerge main document?
2. What kind of merge are you doing?
So far, all you seem to be saying anything about is your output document, not your mailmerge main document.

Answer to your questions:

1. To return the value I have this:
{MERGEFIELD "Produto_da_Proposta_Produto_Existente" \b \f }
Where "Produto_da_Proposta_Produto_Existente" is the name of my field.

2. I'm using Directory merge

In your mailmerge main document, do you have empty paragraphs/lines before or after the mergefield? If so delete all except for two paragraph breaks or one line break and one paragraph break after the mergefield.

I have a problem associated.

If I have only the MERGEFIELD the records are perfect format:
Code:
{MERGEFIELD "Produto_ID"}
Result:
HA.TEL.ATA.HT503
HA.IPB.4CC16.APP.GG

If I have some text, or tables, or image the result is:

HA.TEL.ATA.HT503

HA.IPB.4CC16.APP.GG

Quite obviously, if you "have some text, or tables, or image" the mailmerge must provide space for that. Again, though, if you want to have the output all on successive lines, you should make sure your "text, or tables, or image" occurs before the first mergefield and that you "delete all except for two paragraph breaks or one line break and one paragraph break after the mergefield".
