Mail Merge from Access Query to Word
Sorry for another mail merge thread... but I cant seem to figure this out.
I have the module code from the MSDN site that pulls up my word template, but once open it always asks what "table" to pull the data from. I want to use an Access Query, "OPEN SCAR" where it asks you for the record number, selects just that one record and uses that data only. I only need one word doc at a time. When I try Options > click "Views" > OPEN SCAR (the query I want)... it always causes an error I have tried to use a macro that opens the query first, then RunCode, it still asks for the table in Word. Any ideas? |

This isn't an area I'm especially familiar with, but it seems to me your line:
Connection:="QUERY OPEN SCAR", might be an issue. Unless 'Open' is part of the query name (which doesn't seem to be the case, it should be: Connection:="QUERY SCAR", For more on mailmerge programing see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.10).aspx http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.10).aspx http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=3237
