Default Invitations

I'm really struggling here and I hope you can help. I'm trying to create invitations in Word using mail merge. There are 4 invitations to a page but I can't work out how to get one invitation per person. At the moment I get one page of 4 invitations with the same name, then on to the next name and so on. I expect (hope) this is very simple to sort.

Hi emma,

You should be able to do this using a label merge.

When you choose the label type (eg Avery 6093 for 4 per A4 page), and select your recipients list, Word automatically populates all except the first label with a «NextRecord» field. All you need to do after that is to add the required mergefields and content to the first label, then click on 'Update labels' and Word will replicate that setup on all labels. Your mailmerge is then ready to run.

If you've not done things this way, you can still insert a «NextRecord» field immediately before the 2nd, 3rd & 4th labels. The «NextRecord» field is available from the 'Rules' dropdown on the Mailings Tab.
