Default Word 2007 Mail Merge Problem


I am trying to create name tags from a list I have set up in Excel. I am using a template from Avery for labels that are 6 to a page. I've set up the mail merge to merge 1 record for each label, but every new page of labels skips a record. I end up with labels for records 1-6, 8-13, etc. It skips every 7th record!

Similarly, I have set up a merge to create name tents for desk tops, which are 2 to a page. The same thing happens - every 3rd record is skipped. I have tried to play around with the merge fiels, but I am not saavy enough to know exactly what is wrong. Please HELP!!

Any chance you could post your attempt for us to look at? It would be much easier to understand and fix! (If the names/details are confidential, you could always change them!)

Default Fixed my own problem...

In attempting to change the confidential details and logos, I found the issue. I had tables in my documents, and I put the "Next record" field at the end of one cell. By simply moving it to the beginning of the next cell, it solved my problem. Thank you for your willingness to help.
