How to stop letter body moving up and down
Hi,
Using Win 7, MS Word 2010. When I mail merge addresses into a letter, the start of the letter body text moves up and down, depending on how many lines there are in the address above it (blank lines are suppressed). Is there any way of fixing where the letter body starts on the page, so that the space between the address and the body is just bigger if the address is short? Maybe I need to insert some kind of break ... |

Hi Alan,
Where the address is to go, create a single-cell borderless table of sufficient fixed width and height to accommodate the longets and highest address. Put all the address mergefields into that and, from then on, all your letters will have the same layout.

Thanks Paul. I'll give that a go.
