Default Mail Merge multiple rows?

I need some help regarding Mail Merge. I am attempting to set up form letters that take the name of the receiving business, and add in all of their addresses, pulling from an excel sheet where each address is found in a row. The business name is the same in the leftmost column going down maybe three to five rows, and then each row has a different address for that same company.

What I'm trying to do:

Business, Inc

1 Street
1city, 1state, 00001

2 Street
2city, 2state, 00002

3 Street,
3city, 3state, 00003

I have it pulling the data using the company name in column 1 of the spreadsheet, but this only gives me the address from one row. Is there a function in mail merge that allows me to take a name from one column and pull the addresses from all rows with the same name in that column?

Hi ender,

You can use Word's Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge facility for this (the terminology depends on the Word version). To see how to do so with any mailmerge data source supported by Word, check out my Microsoft Word Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge Tutorial at:
http://windowssecrets.com/forums/sho...ngs-(2000-2010)
or
http://www.gmayor.com/Zips/Catalogue%20Mailmerge.zip

The tutorial covers everything from list creation to the insertion & calculation of values in multi-record tables in letters. Do read the tutorial before trying to use the mailmerge document included with it.

For some recent, worked examples, see the attachment to the posts at:
https://www.msofficeforums.com/mail-...html#post23345
https://www.msofficeforums.com/mail-...html#post30327

Alternatively, you may want to try a Many-to-One Mail Merge add-in from either:
• Graham Mayor at: http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm
• Doug Robbins' Windows Live SkyDrive page at: https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=5aedc...615E886B%21111
