define a mail merge data source using unc (universal naming convention)
I need to use an existing text file, located on a file share, as the data source for a mail merge. I would like to define the data source using the universal naming convention (unc) rather than a drive letter.
e.g. \\servername\foldername\datafilename When I use the select recipients button and browse to the file then click open, the data source is always defined using the drive letter. Is it possible to define a data source using the unc path? If so, how do you do it? Thanks |
