Default Mail Merge: cannot display the field in Excel correctly

Hi all, I use Word to do mail merge from an Excel source (both files as attached), I have no idea why some fields cannot display the correct values (0 is displayed instead in Word for some merge fields (USD$xx (Order)). Anything wrong in the Excel file?? Many thanks!!
Attached Files
File Type: doc doc1.doc (13.8 KB, 7 views)
File Type: xlsx Book1.xlsx (40.1 KB, 13 views)

Your currency values have all been input as text. You can see this from the fact they're right-aligned and are prefixed with '. Where you have numerous empty cells or mixed numbers and text in the first 16 rows in a column, you are liable to have 0s instead of the text in the mailmerge output.

You can remedy the problem by inputting a 1 in an unused cell, copying it, then selecting the blocks of numeric text and using Paste Special > Values > Multiply.

But may I know why some cells can be displayed in Word normally in mail merge while some (with the same format) cannot?
