Mail merge in a header
I have been programing template documents for the administrators using an in house system that uses data source files to populate document templates as part of a workflow for some time now. For some reason a perticular document will not populate the merge field held within a header of a document. I need the company name to merge within the header. This has worked on some documents but not on others.
I have tried various things such as trying to merge a different field, checking the merge field by adding it to the main content, usinga template that does work and editing it and saving it as the new document and for some reason it just will not work. I have no change in how my program calls the letter and DSD and so now I am just majorly stuck! Any thoughts!??! |

Hi Kizzy,
What type of mailmerge? You can't use mergefields in the page header of a directory/catalogue merge, for example.
