E-mail merge feature with CC
Hi everybody, I am new in the forum and new with Word. I have knowledge of excel and access but of word I do not have any.
My manager wants me to create a tool in word that sent personalized e-mails to a list that we have in excel. I have used the e-mail mail feature to do this. However, we want to add the cc field and I believe it is not possible, right? Nevertheless, I could build a VBA code, but this one could not personalize the wording included in the e-mail body (because I would want that each person receives and e-mail with personal information that only can be viewed by each person. This is why this is really important to send personalized e-mails.) Can this be done in word? Or should be better to do it in excel? In addition, can in VBA the wording of the e-mail be personalized for each person? |

Word's mailmerge cannot do CCs. You can use vba, though, and there are free utilities for this. See, for example:
http://www.gmayor.com/MailMergeWithAttachments.htm or, if you want to do some coding for yourself: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/...ttachments.htm
