Default Email from MailMerge

I have created a Word document that I want to email to a group of people whose details (including email address) are in my Access database. I can do the mailmerge successfully and everything seems fine but when I try to send the emails there are 2 problems -
1. It wants me to confirm that I am happy to send each email! My default programme is Outlook Express but I do have MS Outlook installed. Can I get round this problem?
2. It would appear that although the email addresses are in the linked Access query it won't send the email to anyone whose details are not in my Address Book. Am I misunderstanding something here or do I have to put all the email addresses into the Address Book as well as having them in the Access Table?

Any help would be appreciated.

For the first problem, see: http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/
For the second problem, AFAIK the addresses don't have to be in your address book. It may be that you configured your mailmerge to use the address book instead of the data source (ie the existing list option) for the addresses to send to.

My second problem seems to have been resolved - it is now picking up email addresses that are not in my Address Book.
But the second problem is a message from Outlook Express and not from Outlook. The link you suggested says this fix doesn't operate in Outlook Express. But I have gone into Tools, Options, Security in Outlook Express and have unticked the 'Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me' box but I'm still getting the boxes asking for confirmation that I want to send each email. Is there anything else I need to do?

You may need to close & re-start Outlook Express for the settings to take effect.
