Help with merge fields
Hello
I am currently studying for an office computing course and I've run in to a problem. I am suppose to make a mail merge document but before making the final merge I have to print out a copy of my letter showing the merge fields. Basically I need to print the document showing the field codes. The problem I’m having is that when I go to print the document it prints the header (template) and the rest of the page is blank. When I look at print preview it shows the entire letter with the merge fields so I’m kinda confused as to why it prints a blank page. I’ve never used a computer for anything other than games or the internet so I apologise for my ignorance when it comes to using word |

Hi Chris,
Hard to say without seeing a copy of the document. Can you post a copy?

Sure I can do that, would you like a screen shot of the document or a copy of the actual file sent to you?
Edit: I tried posting a screen shot of the document but it passes the character limit on the forum. |

Hi Chris,
A copy of the document would be needed, not just a screenshot.
