Default MS Word and Chat GPT - forum suggestion

Thought the members of the group would be amused by this:

I am a member of a mailing list of many Ph.D. scientists interested in certain domains of science. One of them is AI in regards to gauging if it can mimic human intelligence. I constantly say that while it can do some amazing things it still lacks common sense and many other rudimentary cognitive skills. Computers will never rise to real human intelligence but humans have already degraded to think and behave like computers.

I have asked ChatGPT from day one many common sense questions like "If my mother was sterilized at the age of two does that mean that I will not be able to have children?"

And it fouls up every time until this very day. And when I have asked to write for me a poem, about anything, where each word in the poem is no longer than two letters long, instead of saying I cannot do that, it has no "humility" and goes on to write poems with words much longer than two letters long for doesn't follow the rules. Yeh, who doesn't know the truism "if you cannot win, change the rules". I will skip over commenting on ChatGPT's radical political biases.

I have been struggling for a long time with how to use text boxes or frames in the footnote area of a Word doc and I asked ChatGPT if it could help me. This is what it told me (see included screenshot) but if you cut a shape from the main text area you cannot paste it into the footnote area so it looks like Chat CPT is actually "AS" = "artificial stupidity"

It would be interesting if there was a way to connect this forum to CHatGPT and all questions are sent to it and how the answers would rivel with the help of forum members. Probably not too difficult to do

I moved this into the Forum support forum since it is a suggestion for the forum rather than about Word.

I have direct access to Microsoft's AI about Word and Office. In my experience, the percentage of valuable information about Word to be gained from AI is less than 30% (off the cuff guess). That may improve over time but people already have access to AI without getting garbage here.

However, I do not run this forum.

If someone wants to use chatGPT, they can simply open their website. An integration with this forum would be like opening a can of worms, IMO.
