Default Repository of replies sent to messages received?

I generally reply to messages as soon as I notice them. Today I went back to re-read my response and see that my response is not saved so far as I can tell.

Any place I can find my replies to messages?
(Messages, not thread posts.)

Thank you for responding.

However, that gives thread posts, not private messages. And messages gives messages I've received. The sent tab of that gives messages I originated, but not my replies to messages from others.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. You click "Inbox (xxx messages)", it's a drop-down menu, you can find "Sent Items" where your sent messages are stored.

Nope:

gives me the sent messages that I originated. It does not give replies to messages that I have sent. That box was the one I meant when I said the "sent tab." I have replied to multiple messages, including a couple within the last week and the received messages show that I sent a reply, just not what it was.

I suspected that changing this setting to "Yes" might do it.

It did not.

Yes, you are right. The sent messages weren't saved by default. I just checked the forum settings and made it default for new members.

Even with that setting, though, it does not seem to be saving replies. I will try sending you a PM and if you reply, see if your reply is saved anywhere.

Please check the setting again, you didn't seem to change it.

I just sent you a PM. Nothing shows up.
I found what appears to be another setting. It was unchecked before. I checked it and sent a message before the above screenshot. Setting is below.

I have and it saved. I found it. The problem was that after I checked it, I needed to click on the "Apply Changes" button. Thank you for your assistance.

To clarify for anyone finding this. The repository for sent messages holds replies, I did not have saving activated.
