Default Screenshot/Images positioning within post… can't.

In other vBulletin forums I can position images uploaded from my computer without a problem. I've got round not being able to insert an image from my local machine by Manage Attachments, but I have no choice to insert them inline or just as an attachment at the bottom of the message. See attachment from another forum.
Am I missing something?

Also why can we only insert an image from the web and not from the local machine?
See second attachment from another vBulletin forum.

If you look at this message's source you'll see a lot of code between [IMG][/IMG] tags which was an attempt at pasting an image, but the image doesn't show in the final message (although the image does show when you first paste it!).

You are right about the inline images, this forum is on a very old version of vBulletin and doesn't support it directly with local upload, sorry about the inconvenience.

A workaround is uploading the images to your album first (Community -> Pictures & Albums) and them embed them into your posts. You can also upload to a third party image hosting site, but it's more inconvenient.
