If I enter 1 or 50 I want the result to be 1 or 50 not .01 or .05. It seems that regardless of what kind of number formatting I choose, I still have to manually enter 1.00 or 50.00 to end up with 1 or 50 in the cell? Mark |

Something must be wrong!
Of course if you type any number to a cell that is formatted as "General" you must get the same result as you have typed. |

Seems you have enabled the option: automatically insert decimal point after 2 places.
Go to excel options, advanced, editing options and uncheck that option... |
