Smile Cut and Paste

How do you turn off the cut and paste option in excel if you are having folks select drop downs and you dont want them using cut and paste on a worksheet?

thanks,

Hi Ray
Basically you cannot turn it off.
What you can do though is create a new Excel Template and remove the cut and paste buttons from the toolbar for that template only.
And for the shortcuts Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V you could create blank macros and assign Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V to them. That way if they try the shortcuts they will not work.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
