I am trying to create Excel file with .xlsx file extension using Tomcat Apache POI API in java/J2EE. But can't able to do so.
While i am able to create Excel file with .xls extension.
Can you provide any suggestion or API(Lib) or code snippet that full fill our requirement.

That question reads like a Tomcat java.J2EE problem rather than an excel problem. If you need a workaround, it is possibly to loop through files in a directory, opening any files that have an .xls extension and saves them in .xlsx.
