Hi, everyone. I have a workbook with 5 worksheets. Each worksheet contains a cell in which the user types the name of their organization. I'd like to make it so that when the user types the name into one worksheet, it automatically inserts the same name into the other worksheets.
Is there a way to make this happen, regardless of which worksheet the user fills out first? Thanks for your help. Matthew |

Hi
it can be done if the worksheets are grouped, which can be done, or manually, or with VBA. As I'm not at all savvy, I hope someone else can help ( or perhaps on Google somewhere?)

Thanks for the response. But if I group worksheets, won't that mean that if I add or delete rows in one worksheet, it'll add or delete rows in all of the worksheets? I don't want that to happen.
Please let me know if that's correct. Thanks. |

Matthew, more info please.
Are you dealing with only 5 cells, or are you talking about "sets" of 5 cells ? If 5 cells only, what are the cell addresses on the individual sheets ? Are you open to a VBA solution to this ? |

NoSparks,
I had to finish it yesterday, so I just made the cells on worksheets 2 through 5 equal to the corresponding cell on worksheet 1. My hope is that they'll fill out worksheet 1 first- that's the only way it'll work. But if they don't- oh well, it's not the end of the world. They'll just have to retype it 5 times. Thanks so much for your reply. I appreciate it. Matt |
