![]() What I want is: Sum formula in A1 Sum all the values from A2 to A* (till the end of the column A) because I will add data to the column A later on, I cannot specify A2:A? How can I possibly do it in Excel? |

Hi
Here is the solution: =SUM(A2:A1000001) This formula will sum one million entries Whenever you add values to the column, if you have automatic calculation turned on, the formula will recalculate. If not then press F9 to calculate manually. Good luck. Tony(OTPM) |

If you use the table feature available in Excel 2010 then your SUM formula can reference the table column, and the table column will automatically expand as you add data to the table.

Thanks for both replies.
Yes, I can use the table feature in 2010. |
