Post Line Highlighting

I use a multi line spread sheet everyday from A to W. What I would like to do is once I enter a work in A for the entire line down to W to fill in a grey color. I have tried the conditional formatting and can only get the A box to grey out. Anyone know how to format it where the entire line will grey?
