custom number format: change thousands separator

Is it possible to change thousands separator in a excel graph by modifying Custom Cell Format?



I create various ppt presentations to be used on different machines/languages/timezone's so I'd like to change the thousands separator per graph instead of per timezone!

Hi Ward,

You could possibly use a custom number format, but you'd have to choose something other than a ',' or '.' for the separator.

In any event, Excel's default separators are determined by the system's Number Format settings, not by the system's time zone.
