calculating points and division in excel
Dear Experts!
suppose you are an academic officer and you want to display the results of your students in term of points and divisions. students did 9 subjects but you have to choose only seven subjects that they did better. here is an attachment of students scores. the major problem is to code that is to assign A=1,B=2,C=3,D=4,F=5. the other problem is to choose seven subjects out of 9 that he/she did better and then sum the points. here is attachment of it. if you open the attachement sheet three you will see some important information. Points start from 7 up to 35. where division one =7-17,II=18-21,III-22-25,IV=26-30 AND DIV O=31-35. How can you it? |

Hi Edward
Please see attached spreadsheet. I believe this is what you are after. You can hide the calculation columns if you dont want to display them. Kind regards Tony |
