Default Excel '03 randomly crashing.

Excel '03 randomly crashing.

I’m working with a user of Excel ’03 that randomly crashes when he has two or more workbooks opened. He says that it has happened with combinations of multiple workbooks not just the same two all the time. There are no macros in use but he is using the Cognos TM1 add-in which has been working fine previously. I’m not aware of any updates that would have been installed recently.

I have tried running Office Repair, deleted user’s Office registry folders under HKCU, deleted user’s temp files and Windows Temp and prefetch, uninstalled and reinstalled Excel ’03 which is the only ’03 app he is user other than Outlook.

Thanks!

Kevin
