while converting to excel number changed why? iwant sum the three column 3-65 is convert to 23805 i want 3.65 integer value to calculate |

When you converted from text it recognized 3-65 as the date March 1, 1965. The numeric value for that date is 23802, the next day is 23803, etc.
To convert those text entries into numerics, do a SEARCH/REPLACE on that text first to convert the dashes (-) into decimals. See if your results are better after that. |

Do you mean a number of days, or a date under it's "xl" form (sthg like 40783 fi)
