Default Losing Text box data when copy and paste

I would like to be able to copy a chart from an Excel worksheet, and paste it into a Word Document without losing text boxes. When I click the chart and highlight the surrounding cell area for copy, certain textboxes disappear from the screen. When I paste it into the Word document, the text is still missing.
The text boxes that disappear, seem to be formated the same as the ones that don't.
Thank you
