Default example of radio buttons in for data entry?

I want to use a radio button to enter data into a cell. So, if OptionButton1 is pressed enter 1. if OptionButton2 is pressed enter 2...etc. Is there example code for this anywhere?

Also, should I use a form control or an ActiveX control? In the toolbox, I see a frame for the form control selection, but none for ActiveX control. How do I group ActiveX buttons?

If you use forms controls you will not need code to put the number into the cell. You can right click > format control > control tab > cell link - choose the cell you want to link to.

The general rule of thumb is that, if you must put controls on a worksheet (as opposed to a userform), then use the simpler 'forms' controls. There's less that can go wrong with them.
