Default Calculated Field is disabled

In Excel 2010, I am trying to use Calculated Field, but it is disabled (please see attachment)

Interestingly, I have a another spreadsheet (created by someone else). If I open a second spreadsheet, Calculated Field appears enabled.

Thanks
Maria

Hi,

Perhaps it is because of this?

You cannot create a calculated field or a calculated item in a PivotTable based on OLAP source data.
