From Office '03 to '10 - where is the Excel filename ???
Dear MSOfficeForums users, I have a HUGE problem... I have gone from using an Office 2003 to an Office 2010. This is great. But I have a problem with Excel ! When I open my existing excel-documents in the new office, Excel does NOT show the name of the document (e.g. Budget 2011) in very top of the Excel window ??? This makes it very difficult to shift between different documents and different versions of the document. What do I do... Heeeelp :-) My old Office 2003 was installed on my desktop, the Office 2010 is a server-version installed at my companies new hosting partner - if this has anything to do with it ? Hi,
Perhaps you could post the solution so that other people who have the same question will be able to solve it too? |

The issue was a toolbar of the hosting system that was shown all the time. Now we learned how to "turn it off", so we can see the file name.
So the file name was there the whole time :-)) |
