Welcome to the forum.

Per attachment, put this formula in cell I4 and copy down:

=COUNTIF($C:$C,G4)

This approach relies on you identifying each unique item in column C and then listing it in column G. An alternative approach would be to have A:E as a table and then to get a count of each unique item using a pivot table.
