Default Excel 2011 not performing paste special correctly

Hi -

In Excel 2008, if I wanted to reference a cell from one s/s in a different s/s, I'd copy it, and do a paste special. In 2011, it is picking up the sum statement, rather than the result of the summation. Not what I want. Any suggestions on how I can make this work correctly? Thanks.

Default little try

select the whole sheet where u want to paste the whole date, clear all the format which is there in the sheet & then paste the date by using paste special.
hope this will do.
regards,
Nirik
