![]() Hey everyone, I have a Pivot table which lists for row labels Company Name, and then Product Name. Under values, it has "Sum of Number of Product". The way my excel workbook looks is like so: Company...........Product Name..........Number of Product Company A........Business Line............5 Company A........Toll Free................ 1 Company B........Business Line .........10 Company B........Toll Free.................0 Company B........Centrex Line............5 Etc. In my pivot table, I have it showing like this: Company..........Product Name..............Sum of Number of Product Company A.......Business Line...............5 ......................Toll Free.....................1 Company A Total................................6 Company B.........Business Line............10 .......................Toll Free....................0 .......................Centrex Line...............5 Company B Total...............................15 What I'm trying to do is to have it sort the pivot table by Company Total from largest to smallest. So I want it to show the whole section for Company B at the top since the total is 15, and then Company A at the bottom since the total is 6. I need it to keep the layout though, like it has to show all the products and individual totals. I'm using Office 2010 Excel but can't seem to figure this out no matter what I try! |

Hi,
First create the pivot table using only the row label "Company Name". Then sort the pivot table and after that insert the row label "Product name". Kind regards Bjorn |
