exporting bold text from excel to word?
I want to export data in comma delimited format to use in word, after having made some columns bold text. However when I open the file in Word the bold text has regressed to normal. How do I retain the bold text please?

The CSV (*.csv) or "Comma Delimited" file format saves only the text and values as they are displayed in cells of the active worksheet. All rows and all characters in each cell are saved. Columns of data are separated by commas, and each row of data ends in a carriage return. If a cell contains a comma, the cell contents are enclosed in double quotation marks.
If cells display formulas instead of formula values, the formulas are converted as text. All formatting, graphics, objects, and other worksheet contents are lost. |

Thanks for that, but my question was how do I export text from Excel so that it retains BOLD text rather than non-bold?

Hi,
suggestion: use normal "Copy-paste" (copy from Excel file, paste in Word) Kind regards Bjorn |
