Default My Excel is weird

Office Version:Office 2007Operating System:Windows XP
I have a few spreadsheets open in Excel 2007. I will do a few things in the program and all of a sudden it starts beeping. A little white box will appear in the top left corner and randomly beep. Looking at Task Manager, Excel.exe is opened twice. I can close one of the instances, but it will come back and beep again. I checked the Accessibility Options and nothing is turned on. I have tried to uninstall 2007 to reinstall, but refuses. Any other ideas would be very helpful.

Try opening excel in safe mode and then try auto fill and check if it works
1. click on start
2. click on all programs >accessories
3. run
4. type “excel /safe”(without quotes)
Note: there is a space between excel and “/”
