Default Excel 2003 -how to get input assist on names in formulas?

formula entry gives me no quick assist entering a name (of the Insert > Names variety). Just colouring blue a complete name. Though I can pull up Insert > Names (Alt I N P).

Can I enable some quick assist e.g. a pop-up list of available names? I recall seeing this before, but it could have been on a different version.

Thanks.
