Default Cannot Refresh Pivot Table In Protected Sheet

I have a sheet with a Pivot Table, which references a data table in another sheet.

The sheet with the Pivot Table is protected, BUT, the cells used by the Pivot Table are NOT protected.

When I try and right-click in order to Refresh, that option is unavailable.

I activated the option in the Pivot Table to refresh on file open.

Now, when I open the file, I get a message "Cannot edit PivotTable on protected sheet"

Tommy
